As a social advocacy organization, HEDCON has focused on identifying issues affecting vulnerable people and common issue of concern for grass root organizations. Through grass root research and studies with its network organizations, HEDCON has worked on identifying the root causes of the problem also in setting the ground for advocacy with different stakeholders for the causes.

WE ARE FOCUSING ON
HEDCON’s main focus is on two issues that are of great importance to the people at large; environmental management and human rights. Hence, we have become a centre of expertise on these topics. Focusing on this has also involved working on disaster management and waste management, education, empowerment of women and the elderly, HIV/AIDS, health promotion, food security, agriculture policy and women and child labour.
